For the love of coral

Coral has always held a special place in my heart.

Any devout coral fan would, of course, own a few articles of clothing in said color.

But coral deserves more than just my plain ole jeans.

Cue a Pinterest search.  Full of coral with animal print annnd green jeans.....

Once I was chock full of ideas, I got to work on my own coral stylings.

First up, a date night type outfit, as I would never, ever wear those peep-toe wedges to chase kiddos around the classroom.......

Next up, a more casual approach that I could wear to work.....

Might as well get as much mileage as I can outta those green jeans.  Because it's been brought to my attention (ahem, Whit) that they are more blue than green

Is this true?

Be honest with me people.

Am I in denial here?

Since I had such a hard time finding the perfect pair of green skinnies, did I let my obsession impair my color judgement?

Is the search not quite over?

  1. First of all, I am also a fellow lover of coral. Even though I'm not engaged yet, I've been (secretly) drooling over some coral colored wedding stuff on Pinterest recently :)

And when it comes to the jeans - blame the color difference on your camera and the lighting of the environment where the pictures were taken! Sure, they look a little blue in the photos, but we have no way of knowing what color they are in real life. Just wear them to school and see what your students think. My 4th graders were ALWAYS complimenting me on my fashion decisions - best self confidence boost ever!

  4. People, people! Believe me. They are aqua blue in person. I held a piece of my minty flavored gum up to them while they were on her leg. It was all very scientific, see. Fourth graders supported me in my beliefs.

They are blue. But lovely all the same.

  9. I LOVE that first outfit the best. It's really simple but because of the colors it still looks so pretty and unique. I think the jeans are slightly more blue than green, but they are still really cute. I want MINT jeans, and I'm not going to settle until I find them in the exact color I want! I never see them anywhere, though, because they sell out as soon as any stores get them. Maybe that means I just shouldn't buy them because they're so trendy... but I like being trendy! Oh well! You are so cute!
