What I Wore: Easter Sunday

A few weeks back, I came home with a thrifted skirt.....

$5.98

Pleats and polka dots.  Two very good things.

I had no idea when I'd find an opportunity to wear it, but I thought I'd look up styling ideas on Pinterest just to be prepared.  A few pins I found helped me out.....

I learned it should be belted......worn with heels......and I would have to tuck in a shirt.

I am not a shirt tucker inner.

But I loved the look, so I kept the idea deep in the recesses of my mind.

Then came Easter morn.

I am not a clothing planner outer either.  Nope.  Not one bit.

Sooooo a frenzied fashion show ensued, and the polka dot pleated skirt came out the victor......

A basic white cotton shirt + a red thrifted belt straight out of the 80's + a black granny purse + basic black heels = Easter Sunday Outfit....

Please, however, ignore the pasty whiteness of my shins.

Nothing a little summer break can't fix.

29 school days left.

  12. That is so cute!! I am not a shirt tucker inner either, the main reason at the end of every week my room is a mess is because of this, I am always pulling outfits out trying to find something to wear. I had a really cute dress planned for Easter but we woke up to really cold weather so I threw on dress pants and a tank with a sweater...I was very disappointed that I didn't get to show off my new dress ):
