The Obsession Continues (what I wore)

My mustard obsession, that is.

The color.

Not the condiment.

I have mustard jeans.  A cardiganTights too.

And now I have a scarf.

I looked high and low for a great mustard scarf.  Shoulda known Kiki La'Rue would have the perfect one!

Styling a big yellow scarf had me a little nervous.  So I decided to keep it simple.  A little black, a little brown, and animal print.........

Is animal print simple?  Is that how to rock a statement scarf?

I don't know.

What I do know is that there are eight more school days til Christmas break.

And while candy canes, presents, and Santa are running through the veins of my 23 kiddos, this teacher might even be more amped than they are.

Now all I need is some snow!

  3. Digging the scarf. Seriously.

What? Christmas is coming? We can't even mention the word Christmas at school...we are totally "winter" break kind of people and it drives me insane. I'm all for being culturally sensitive but we go a little nutty. AGH!

    Rant over.

But yes, my students are acting like they are already on holiday too.

  6. I love that scarf and the colour. I have some mustard colour yarn waiting impatiently to be turned into a cowl for myself once I finish making another 16 presents. Your outfit is cute and the animal rocks with the scarf.

  18. Danavee! fun! you crack me up. in my ootd breakdown, the only thing that wasn't thrifted was the vest and you commented about the vest being thrifted. hahahaha. couldn't help but getting a chuckle out of that. (oh, sorry, didn't mean to laugh). the vest was my last thing to ever buy that wasn't thrifted. after i bought that vest, i began thrifting. i'll do a post eventually on my reasons for thrifting, etc.; mainly money, need and want all came together at the same time.

i still love your scarf; color and style of it. wow! it is sooooo cool.

    have a tremendous day, k?
