About two years ago, I purchased matching vintage windows.......
I knew exactly where I wanted them to go. Flanking the curtains in our master bedroom.
Why it took this long to hang them, I don't know. It's just kind of how I operate. I mean, you know how long it took me to finish the special room. I'm weird.
Anyway.
After spray painting my nightstand black last week........
I finally had the urge to get them on the wall.........
The mister was lovely and patient while I told him "a little higher on the right" and other such phrases.
Still need to paint.........light gray??
Still need lamps.........mercury glass, I think???
Still need to decide on an accent color for pillows and accessories.
But feeling a little closer to being finished.........
Do we like the red as an accent?
What about turquoise?

Wow. Those windows are so much bigger than they look when you photographed them last post. They look great in your room. Why is it that the master bedroom is one of those rooms that is always last on the list to fix up...that's the same for me!
ReplyDeleteBefore I got to the bottom of your post I was totally thinking of turquoise as either the accent or the wall color. It looks great!
ReplyDeleteI. Love. Those. Windows.
ReplyDeleteThey look PERFECT on your wall!! :)
Those windows are AMAZING! They look great! I personally like red as the accent color, but turquoise would definitely work too. Just depends on the vibe you're going for.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, I need to decide the vibe! You are correct!!!
DeleteOh how great. I have a old window about my bed as well. Mine holds a wreath. Also, I love your round white pillow. So cute!
ReplyDeleteLooks great! And red is my favorite color, so I love it, but turquoise would look awesome too!
ReplyDeleteOne step at a time is the way to go!
ReplyDeleteI really like red as an accent....feng shui (or however you spell it) suggests that you have something red in every single room.
You can never go wrong with turquoise IMO! Very very cute. Those windows are amazing. And don't feel bad...it takes me approximately 900 years to finish each and every project too!
ReplyDeletemy mister loves my "supervising" when I ask him to do things for me as well! red seems like a good fit.
ReplyDeleteOkay, I want those SO bad! GOOD JOB! :)
ReplyDeleteThose are much bigger than they look in the 1st picture but I still love them. I say no to the red. Turquoise, teal, purple, yellow. Something bright and fun.
ReplyDeleteTurquoise or coral!! I LOVE coral with gray. It looks great!
ReplyDeleteCORAL! I LOVE THIS IDEA!!!!!!!!!
DeleteLove it! But no red...I would do a different color. :)
ReplyDeleteHA! You and Kenny agree!!!!!!!
DeleteGet it gurrrl!!! It's coming together awesomely!! Is that a word???? ;)
ReplyDeletethose look so good!!! and i like the red!
ReplyDeleteLOVE where you put the windows!! And I'm not sold on the red, post a pick of the turquoise? I think I might like that better.
