I Googled the brand (L'Avion) for selling purposes but didn't find much.
Then I tried it on.
Maybe decided that I liked it.
And realized that it matched my vintage Frye boots........
My question for you is: Keep or sell?
It is a little on the large side. The shoulders and sleeves mainly. I'm pretty sure it's a men's jacket.
But did I mention how it matches my precious vintage Frye boots?
Not that being matchy matchy is always the goal. But browns can't clash, you know.
Help!

That jacket does match your boots perfectly!
ReplyDeleteI would say sell, but only because it is a bit big on you. Such a difficult decision. I'm sure you will make the perfect choice for you.

Thank you! I think the 'keeps' have me wanting to keep it!
Deleteoh snap!!!! i love it!! keep!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteKEEP! Or sale so I can hop on a plane and buy it for myself!
ReplyDeleteI kind of love it and vote for keeping it - I mean, come ON, it matches your boots! (I'm not a fan of browns clashing either)
ReplyDeleteIt does match the boots perfectly! Maybe take it to a tailor to shorten the sleeves??

I will look into that! Surely leather can be altered!
DeleteI would def keep. I've been looking for a jacket like that!
ReplyDeleteLove that! If you see yourself wearing it all of the time, keep it! Once you sell it, you can't get it back. Besides, if you find a better replacement or tire of it, you can always add it back to the booth. :)
ReplyDeleteThat is such a great idea! You are completely right! I could sell it any time I want!
DeleteKEEP IT!!!! This is a treasure and those boots...I DIE!!! They remind me of Ariel from Footloose...and you know that is my all time favorite movie!!
ReplyDeleteYou look too adorable in that jacket to sell it. Keep it!!!
ReplyDeleteKEEP! So cute!
ReplyDeleteKeep! And if you were to sell it, sell it to me! I'd snatch that up in a heartbeat! You look fantastic in that, and you'd be a fool to let that go!

Keep! They look perfect together.
ReplyDeleteI would say keep. How often do you find a leather jacket that color! I mean really. And although it is a tad big, it doesn't look boxy and.....it will work over cozy sweaters. Awesome.
ReplyDeleteI think it is so cute! I would keep it! ;) xo Heather
ReplyDeletekeeeeep! those athletic style cuffs are both practical and reminiscent of fab eighties style. loves it.
ReplyDeleteSell. It looks too big on you, and I'm not a huge fan of the matchy matchy. However, I do really like those boots!

Thank you!!!!!!!!!! I almost died when I found them!
DeleteGet it tailored and keep it. Then let me know where you went to get it tailored because I have a leather jacket I need tailored too! Or I'll let you know where I go.
ReplyDeleteI usually do Joann's on Battlefield! Probably should price check!!!
DeleteKEEP! The (almost) perfect leather jacket is hard to find!
ReplyDeleteOKAY! I think I'm convinced!
DeleteI say KEEP- it's hard to find a good vintage jacket like that. Just wanted to thank you for following me and linking up with the GFC Collective this week. Hope it was successful for you and I hope to see you back next week :)
