Lately...

Some fallifying of the house took place.  Big red mums are good.  So are vintage watering cans..........

A vintage screen door was purchased at the thrift.........

This is also good.

Except if you consider my hoarding tendencies.

If hoarding is a problem, then I guess it's bad.

And while we're talking about hoarding, is it also bad that I bought a vintage corner sink just because I've never seen one out in the wild?

I mean, so what that it's for a non-existent corner bathroom for our next house that we have yet to look for!?

Anyway.

The mister got a wild hare mid-week to hit up a Chief's game.....

And boy, was it ugly.

Booing the quarterback and all.

Sad times. The Chief's lost.

But you can't beat road trip necessities..........

Even if they tell you some discouraging news about your favorite Bachelorette couple.

I'm still rooting for them.

  1. I am still so in love with that vintage door! And I was wondering what in the world that corner sink was on Instagram this week. Hahah thanks for clearing it up. I hope you find the perfect place for it some day. :)

  3. You make me smile. You have now bought just about everything from santa gnomes to the bathroom sink :). I have unexpected things speak to me, that I then feel as if I need to buy as well. You are in good hoarding company.

  5. I once worked in a really old building with a corner sink in the ladies' room, and I was kind of obsessed with it, so I support your purchase. (And I don't want to hear any discouraging news about Emily and Jef. I'm in denial!) ;)

  9. That is a very creative idea for the door! The sink.... I was also confused on Instagram, but I know you will find the perfect use for it! From experience, hoarding is not always a bad thing..... I know that the THOUSANDS of beads I have bought will all be used in the perfect design for them one day....besides WHO can resist a great deal??? ;)
