A few weeks ago, I purchased a dress from Old Navy....
I loved it, but I really wasn't sure how to style it. I'm too tall for it to work as a dress. So I knew I'd need tights.
My mustard tights just didn't look right. White tights felt wrong.
But then I found a pin that completely fixed my problem....

And it wouldn't require a trip to the mall! I had everything I needed to recreate this look!
I just couldn't decide where the belt should go..........over or under?
And how about that cardigan!?! Not only is it mint, it's short-sleeved.
Do you know what that means? It's getting warm around here!!!
Two words: spring fever.
super cute! i think the belt can go either way! love it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute dress. Love how you were inspired to put it all together. And, I am torn between which way I like better. At first I thought under the cardigan but when I looked again, I kind of thought over...either way you can't miss. Enjoy the warm weather!!!
ReplyDeleteI almost bought that exact same dress!! Love the outfit. So cute
ReplyDeleteI like it! I vote for the belt over the cardi...looks more polished. YAY for spring FINALLY!

This is SO damn cute! And I like the belt under the best, but either way you rocked it!
ReplyDeleteI love this look! I like the belt over!
ReplyDeleteThank you!!!!!!!!!!!!
DeleteI love the combo! I vote under! Sarah @ http://tobemrscollier.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteme likey!
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU! ;)
DeleteI like the belt both ways. If you wear it over, the cardigan looks like part of the outfit. If you wear the belt under, the cardigan looks like an afterthought that works. Wear it either way, but I like the belt over best as far as an outfit ensemble, that's my vote.
ReplyDeleteThank you for weighing in!!!!!!!!!
DeleteLove the mint with the grey polka dots!
ReplyDeleteI bought this dress, too. Love it with mint! I'll have to give that a try.
ReplyDeleteFUN!!!!!!!!!! Dress twins!!!!!!!
DeleteThe polka dots is adorable! I think the belt works both ways :)

Cute cute cute! I'm too tall for most dresses, too...they're like long shirts on me. This is a great solution. The mint color is perfect!
