It's not even officially winter yet. And yet the snow day count has risen to four.
You know how I feel about snow days.
Love.
But wow. Four already?! (Good-bye summer.)
Anyway, I make good use of my time off.
I take way too many pictures of Gizmo in order to capture the perfect one.......
It was his first snow! And he loves it.
* * * *
I bake......
And eat.
* * * *
I build fires.........
The first one of the season needs to be documented. Especially when the tree is up and school closings are scrolling across the bottom of the t.v.
* * * *
I huddle in front of the fire with my pups.........
They love it too.
* * * *
And I take time to watch the snow fall.....
It really is magical this time of year.
Now to begin snow day number four........
Cookies, cleaning, and reading await.

OMG that puppy in the snow pic - that is a keeper, well worth taking tons to capture that :)
ReplyDeleteWe have not had any snow yet! I would love to have a little before Christmas! Thanks for linking up with me today!
ReplyDeleteWe haven't had a single snow day! Your snow days sound heavenly. And perhaps that's because there are no children in sight! ;) But seriously, that fire, the tree, and the school closings scrolling... ahhh.
ReplyDeleteI love your little front porch scene. So beautifully done!
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DeleteToday I find myself a little on the restless side! A million things I COULD be doing, yet I want to be lazy.
That happens to me all the time! So then I end up (of course) not getting things done!
DeleteWhat a crazy winter but maybe it's made us all slow down a bit an enjoy! Have a great day! Jan
ReplyDeleteI am so OVER the winter weather but I know we're just getting started!!! Gizmo is the cutest pup- post more pics, please!! :)
ReplyDeleteAGREEEEED!!!!!!!!! And the weather isn't helping sales at Relics either!!!!
DeleteTHANK YOU!!!!!!!!!! I will try to do that!
I was really not expecting a snow day today, so I didn't bring anything home to work on! Piles of papers that need to be graded...it's all still at school. Nothing to do but be lazy! I hope you're having a good one! Your doggies are adorable. :)
ReplyDeleteGizmo looks like he's in heave... in both pics!
ReplyDeleteAll of these things put a HUGE smile on my face! Your pups are beyond adorable. And the fact that I don't live closer to you makes me SO sad because I am dying to try your baked treats!

Gizmo is too adorable and that snow on his face, how cute!!
ReplyDeleteWill you guys have to make up the time at the end of the school year? Back in the day we missed like 5 or 6 days and they made us go to school on a few Saturdays to make up the time. It was a super waste of time because we didn't do anything but stay in our pajamas and watch movies.
ReplyDeleteYour puppies look so warm and cozy and super cuddly...what a fun little break for you guys!
My daughter has been going to bed with her pj's on inside out and backwards hoping for snow days. None here so far, much to her disappointment. // enjoy your week! xo
ReplyDeleteOH so jealous! Living in NC, we have had NO snow......Only 1 snow day last year. Hoping for more this winter.
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect way to spend another snow day. Magic is right. Gizmo is ADORABLE.
ReplyDeleteAw, my mom's dog is named "gizmo" too, your is equally adorable! Love the magical snow post, we don't get that here in North Florida so it's always fun to see in photos.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely enjoyed watching the snow fall..but I'm honestly a little glad to see it go! Slippery driveways, sidewalks, and parking lots are no fun with a 2 year old! ha! or a 30 year old for that matter!
ReplyDeleteI am SO JEALOUS of your snow day!!! I wish snow days were a thing here. ;-)
ReplyDeleteHow fun! I have yet to experience a real snow day. And wow, your pup is so adorable haha I love his energy!
ReplyDeleteAs usual I am super jealous of your snow days (but happy for you!!!). Fireplaces + baked goods + warm puppies = snow day perfection. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Holidays to you, love the photos of the doggies.
ReplyDeleteYOU TOO!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you!
Deletewe've had so much snow- it's nuts!
ReplyDeleteI think I'm OVER IT!
