Happy Things (via Instagram)

Recently, the mister and I celebrated our fifth wedding anniversary.  I had but one request that day.

To document the milestone.

The mister said yes.

I wanted to visit our wedding venue and recreate a wedding photo.......

Five years to the day.  Same spot.  This side-by-side makes me all kinds of happy.

So does the mister's way with kids.......

He visited my classroom last week.  He is the child whisperer.

Something else that makes me happy......

Playing with the parachute on our rained out-plan b-field day.  It just never gets old.

Neither does packing up the classroom for the summer.........

Good-bye work!

Hello summer!!!!

Time for pools and reading til midnight and sleeping in.

  1. Okay so first of all, the pictures that y'all did are adorable! What a fun idea for an anniversary! Secondly, Pineapple Whip is LIFE CHANGING. There's a truck about 45 minutes away from us, and sometimes, we drive that far just to get one. It's that good. :)

I found you through the link up! I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

  8. I remember those summer nights as a kid, laying in bed reading a good book late into the night. Great memories! My husband is a teacher, so he's the one who gets to stay up late, sleep in, and go vintage treasure hunting at his whim. Glad for him! But it sure does make it even more tough for me to get up and go to work in the morning! Enjoy your summer break - I'm sure it's well deserved! : )

  10. Attended a wedding at this location. There is a concierge that greets guest at the main lobby and directs them to the top floor. The view is a must see at night.
