Lately, this little space has taken a backseat to work and preparing the booth for Christmas! You can be sure that thrifting didn't get the shaft though.
A favorite from this weekend is this huge macrame piece........
It was at a yard sale on my street that I'd passed on two days in a row. I couldn't believe it was still there on Saturday! (And I'm sad at what I probably missed at this sale.)
I found this Syroco mirror there also........
These sell very well at the booth for a pretty decent price, so I never pass these up.

A favorite from last weekend is this mid-century end table.........
A grainy, almost-dark back view.......
Those legs! I'm trying to do a little research on this table and the macrame before I decide their fate.

I can't pass up vintage Anchor Hocking......
Or fun, vintage sweaters.......
One of these babies has already sold! Christmas is also selling like hotcakes!!
And now that the booth is decorated, I sort of have the itch to start adding Christmas touches to the house!
Too soon?

i love collecting little old mirrors like the one above! at my entryway, i have about 6 of them displayed all together, like a jigsaw puzzle :)
ReplyDeleteGreat finds! I love that table!
ReplyDeleteI have 2 mirrors that look just like that in my house. I personally want to get rid of them but still they hang.
ReplyDeleteLove those atomic legs on the table.
ReplyDeleteI have to say that I am anxious to start decorating for Christmas too after thrifting for so much of it! I moved my decorating up from the second week in December to the weekend after Thanksgiving. I think if I started now it would be pushing it. Your finds are so great....so close to home. That's where I find my best things!
ReplyDeleteLOVE that table!! Such an amazing piece. I think you should keep. So I'm not the only hoarder. ;)
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU! Ha! It is STILL in my garage! So far, so good!
DeleteI love the mirror! And the macramé is great. My mom made a big macramé owl when I was a kid, but I haven't seen it lately (which is odd because she keeps everything). I usually won't decorate the house for Christmas until December, but there are a lot of Christmas lights on houses around here already. People are eager. ;) Thanks for sharing at Vintage Bliss Tuesdays. Jo
ReplyDeleteThat table is definitely a keeper! Love all the stuff you find. I love to go thrifting, but since moving to the West Coast it's not as rewarding as it used to be when I was growing up in the Midwest. Midwesterners have more space to hoard, so what finds its way into garage sales/stores is just far more awesome!
ReplyDeleteYou have a gift, girl! How do you find this stuff? That table is amazing! And of course I love the macrame. Your home must be amazing. House tour? :)
