I always keep things happy here in blogland.  But sometimes life just isn't.

One of my most favorite people ever left us late last night.

I got to be there.  Got to say good-bye.



We emailed each other every single day.

My heart is pretty heavy.

I loved my Grampy.

The blog will be quiet this week.

    ((hugs)) grandparents hold a special place in our lives. We said goodbye to one grandma in April and my grandma is in her final days right now. This time of saying goodbye to special people who have always been a part of our lives is just hard.

    I am so sorry, sweet girl. My heart is heavy for you today. I will be thinking about you, saying prayers and sending hugs your way. I lost my Granny almost 8 years ago and got to be there with her when she passed as well. I still think about her every single day. We were both blessed to have such amazing grandparents! Grampy is smiling down...I can promise you that!

    Sorry about your loss! Just found your blog through The Sasse Life's hop. My kids email my dad every once in awhile and they would more often if I made time for it. Reading this post convinced me I should. Thank you for that <3.
