Vintage Leather

A few weeks ago, I thrifted a leather jacket.  My intentions were to put it in the booth.

I Googled the brand (L'Avion) for selling purposes but didn't find much.

Then I tried it on.

Maybe decided that I liked it.

And realized that it matched my vintage Frye boots........

My question for you is:  Keep or sell?

It is a little on the large side.  The shoulders and sleeves mainly.  I'm pretty sure it's a men's jacket.

But did I mention how it matches my precious vintage Frye boots?

Not that being matchy matchy is always the goal.  But browns can't clash, you know.

Help!

Be the voice of reason.

  1. That jacket does match your boots perfectly!

I would say sell, but only because it is a bit big on you. Such a difficult decision. I'm sure you will make the perfect choice for you.

  3. I kind of love it and vote for keeping it - I mean, come ON, it matches your boots! (I'm not a fan of browns clashing either)

  4. It does match the boots perfectly! Maybe take it to a tailor to shorten the sleeves??

  6. Love that! If you see yourself wearing it all of the time, keep it! Once you sell it, you can't get it back. Besides, if you find a better replacement or tire of it, you can always add it back to the booth. :)

  9. Keep! And if you were to sell it, sell it to me! I'd snatch that up in a heartbeat! You look fantastic in that, and you'd be a fool to let that go!

  10. I would say keep. How often do you find a leather jacket that color! I mean really. And although it is a tad big, it doesn't look boxy and.....it will work over cozy sweaters. Awesome.

  13. Sell. It looks too big on you, and I'm not a huge fan of the matchy matchy. However, I do really like those boots!

  14. Get it tailored and keep it. Then let me know where you went to get it tailored because I have a leather jacket I need tailored too! Or I'll let you know where I go.
