The Special Room

Less than 24 hours ago I had a skeleton in my closet bedroom.......

Yes, that's a leopard Snuggie.  And piles of laundry.

That's what I had to do in order to host Thanksgiving.

You are judging me, I know it.

That's okay.  Deserved.

But don't be too hard on me.  Because yesterday, I snapped.  And went on a special room cleaning frenzy.  I even broke out the hammer and nails..........

So now it's official.

The special room chapter is coming to a close.

And the door to that room can remain open.

I could even have guests.

But that means I'd have to clean the bathroom or something.

  1. HAHA! I wondered if guests would be using the special room. This is true, complete, amazing, unbelievable, jaw-dropping, blown away, incredible progress. And it looks amazeballs!

(Sorry, I watched a lot of Guiliana and Bill this weekend.)

  2. Wow. That room looks amazing. Glad you can finally keep the door open. After all the teasing and tiny glimpses into the room, the big reveal did not disappoint. AND, I love that you shared your mess...your clutter. You made me smile.

  17. This. Room.

I want to curl up on that bed and read a good book. It's so beautiful and calming. It's hard to pull of that romantic shabby chic look without it looking like a room at a nursing home. Great job!
