Weekends are good!

Here is why...........

1.  You can go roller skating...........

I can't even explain the flood of memories
that came rushing back upon walking
through those doors Saturday night.  The smell
of the lobby, the snack bar, the disco lights.

And neither of us fell.

2.  You can celebrate birthdays.....

And what better way than to give the cutest
two year old niece ever her first Cabbage Patch!

*   *   *   *

3.  You can zipline for the first time.........

Thanks to a half price dealio on Groupon.  We had
a great time and will definitely go again.  We had a
wonderful experience at Adventure Ziplines of Branson.

4.  You can bake some tasty muffins from scratch.....

were a big hit.  Even the mister, who is a hater of all
things snickerdoodly, loved them.

Why can't the weekend last all week?

  1. those muffins look absolutely delicious! I must try them...and soon!

  2. I'm pretty sure I should be sleeping, BUT...

Your zipline experience looks incredibly fun. AND wolf shirts ARE awesome!

What was girly cabbage girl named? Hopefully not Winnie or Diggery Doo. And did you score one with pigtails, I couldn't quite see?

And.. are you going to bring me a muffin for Monday breakfast? Because that's, like, in three or so hours. Go insomnia! Yay!

  3. I would really like a muffin. Bad!

I didn't think that was you upside down on the zipline! How was it??

...WHITNEY! What are you doing up at 2:55? Why can't you sleep? I have muscle relaxers if you need!

  4. This may be an inappropriate comment but can I comment on the mister's guns? Very impressive, but even more impressive that he did all those fun things with you!!

  5. Yum!! So I've been thinking about your snickerdoodle muffins ever since you posted them, so when Mike said he had snack day tomorrow at work, had to try them! They are sooo good - glad I made a double batch! :) Thanks for sharing!

  6. My husband bought the zipline groupon too! Then, I couldn't go... He went with the neighbors and they had a blast. Maybe next year for me!
