For most of my life, cell phones weren't a thing.
Within the last ten years, they really have gone from being a luxury to a necessity.
And just this week I truly discovered how
See.......
My "smartphone" died. In my hands. On Sunday.
No Instagram. No camera. No texting. No world wide web at my fingertips.
Instead, Sprint gave me a "loaner" phone that isn't capable of much. And just in case I didn't remember it wasn't mine all mine, they labeled it for me.......
Don't worry, Sprint. You will be getting your loaner back.
Anyway.
My free time seems to have opened up this week.
So much so that I was able to guest post over at My Dear Watson. That was fun.
I also had time to force Whitney to take silly pictures of me being disgusted with my loaner......
But really it was just a ploy to document this outfit.
I think I like green, black, and white together. All wrapped up with a floral scarf.
Just another school uniform.
Only five days left of school.
And, hopefully, only one day left without my phone!
Linking up with The Pleated Poppy,
Haha!! I'm sure it's hard going back after you've had a smart phone. But your outfit is super cute...so there's that! :-)
ReplyDeleteWow! Five days left. I'm jealous. We have 11 days left. Oh, and I love the outfit! Can't go wrong with a colorful cardigan and a floral scarf!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
Delete5 days left of school? yeah!!!! what a cute outfit! I'm sure i'd feel the same way if i lost or broke my phone!
ReplyDeleteAwww, your poor loaner phone is so sad! I hope you get a new phone soon, I've missed you on IG! And I like the outfit, the green sweater with the floral scarf is great.

Love that scarf! Happy last days of school!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe that's the loaner phone. I would think there are some old smart phones lying around somewhere over at Sprint. Love your "uniform"!

ReplyDeleteThat is crazy that they gave you an ancient phone as the loaner! I can't believe school ends so early over there...in Jersey school isn't over till about the third week in June.

ReplyDeleteOh girl, I would not have been able to make it ONE day without my phone...that loaner needs to be taken back immediately!!! BOO!! But dang you looked cute! ;)
ReplyDeleteYou know what's dumb, that phone's not that much worse than mine. Someday I'll join the land of the smart phones! :-)
ReplyDeleteI love that color combo and the scarf is so pretty! Sometimes I think that I could get rid of my smart phone and save some money and time (I waste so much time on Pinterest on that thing) but then I snap out of it. Not gonna happen! We even have our old smart phones just in case something happens to our current ones!
ReplyDeleteYou are too cute! Love you! XOXOX
ReplyDeleteLOVE YOU!
DeleteOkay, first I love the outfit. So cute. And second- poor you. :) I just got a smart phone for the first time two weeks ago. I know - so far behind the times. :) Even though I've only had it two weeks I don't think I could go back. Hope you get yours back soon. :)
ReplyDeleteSO Funny! I (still) don't have a smart phone..I know, I live under a rock ha! But I love your outfit! Love the green cardi and scarf!

DeleteI can't even believe this is the loaner they gave you!!!?? Might as well have given you a BAG PHONE.
ReplyDelete6 days of school left here!
Ridiculous loaner. Adorable outfit. :)
ReplyDeleteYou're far more brave than I would be. No smartphone? Living nightmare. And I like all those colors together! You always look great!
ReplyDeleteI hope you get your phone back! I am just as dependent, now, on my phone. I love your scarf. Will be seeing summer uniform outfits in 4 days?
ReplyDeleteNice scarf! Love the floral print! :) Check out my last blog post... and what do you think... do you wanna follow each other?
