This week I.....
......discovered that nail polish remover takes ink off the inside of a dryer......
......learned that Wal-Mart carries red velvet cupcake Chapstick......
......started a new book (and I like it)......
......sampled my very first macaron (from Elle's) and experienced heaven......
......had yet another twins moment with Whitney when we both broke out the floral......
......bought flowers for the front of our house......
But now they are sitting inside my house.
Because it is snowing.
In May.
Yeah.

LOVE your flower leggings and I'm sorry it's snowing :( No fun when school is almost out.
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU! I wasn't sure how they'd go over!!!! Yep, 17 days left! Thankfully, no snow days!
DeleteI feel like that was a very brave move to put flowers outside already... but I'm not used to living as far south as you. And you have snow now too! Crazy!
ReplyDeleteYou two make floral look great. Hmmm, perhaps I could try it? That Elle's shop looks dangerous! Yum! Happy weekend, friend!
YES! JCP had CHEAP leggings. I figured I could wear them around the house if I wasn't brave enough to go in public!!!
DeleteLove Elle's! They're croissants are the best. Sorry about the snow....I just keep thinking that it's supposed to be in the 70's by Weds. Come on Weds.!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis snow is ridic. Totally not okay.
ReplyDeleteThe Host is next on my list to read!
I still cannot believe its snowing in May for you! And I really want to try that chapstick.

Red velvet chapstick? I didn't even know they made it! I'd be interested to know what you think of The Host... I'd heard different reviews. Sorry that you had snow! That's insane... but the flowers are so pretty... I'm waiting for ours to bloom!
ReplyDeleteRed velvet chapstick!? Crazy. In a good way.
ReplyDeleteI looked for those red velvet Poptarts you also found, but my grocery store doesn't have them! :(
I am on the waitlist at the library for The Host.
How did I not know about that Chapstick?! That is nuts that it's still snowing by you...come on, spring!

The Tiny Heart
I swear macarons are made of joy and sunshine!
ReplyDeleteUnless you are making them yourself, in which case they are made with anger, frustration, and a few swear words. They are very tempermental.
That is VERY good to know about the nail polish remover because SOMEONE (ie: not me) left a pen in his pocket on laundry day. And i have ALWAYS wanted to try a macaron!
ReplyDeleteThat chapstick sounds fabulous!!! And BOO ON SNOW!!!
ReplyDeleteLook at you on those floral leggings...holla...and it's friggin cold here today too...lows in the 30s!!! Whaaaaaa?
ReplyDeleteMy teen would love that Chapstick! And... I've never had a macaron. Someday...
ReplyDeletei've never had a macaron either! i want to read that book! BOOOO for snow!!!
ReplyDeleteI love your recaps. Ironically, someone else I know just recommended The Host. Now that I finished Insurgent(!) I'll be picking up The Host! Is the mister all over you with that red velvet chapstick :). I'm with Kati, I've never had a macaron but they look delicious. And, any post with a Whitney sighting or a Sir Chester sighting is a good post :)
ReplyDeleteLovely photos!x
ReplyDeleteGlad we're not the only ones with snow in May! I had no idea about the nail polish remover thing, I'm going to try that on some dye that tinted my dryer blue. You and your friend Whitney are too stinking cute! It looks like you guys are always having so much fun.
ReplyDeleteI like the floral!!! and the awesome flowers. Hopefully spring will be back to you soon!!
ReplyDeleteSeriously! I wore shorts to mow on Sunday. By Thursday, I had to dig out my coat and gloves.
ReplyDeleteAren't macaron's the best? I had them for the first time a few months ago. Yum!
