What I Wore (bargain edition)

Another not-so-outstanding outfit here.

I know.  Last week was lame too.

But there is a good reason for sharing it.

First, it was a departure from my typical school uniform.

Also, and even better, the grand total for this outfit was under $25!

You know when Old Navy has clearance and then an additional percentage off?  Well, that's when you can get a skirt for $5.19...........

The shirt was on sale for $13.55.  The necklace was only $5.95 thanks to a Facebook deal!  And the wedges were stolen plucked from my sister's garage sale pile last summer.

But let's talk about those babies.

I rarely do heels.  They make appearances at weddings or church.

So guess how long they lasted at school?

I switched to leopard print sandals before the kids even arrived........

A little pattern mixing.

A little pasty leg baring.

I figured an 80 degree day warranted it.

  1. Love when she's got those necklaces on sale - snagged my second one of all time yesterday. Cute outfit, and I love the sandals! I haven't figured out yet at my building if open-toed shoes are ok or not, so I keep wearing wedges... I need to look at feet more, as weird as that sounds. :)

  5. The Old Navy clearance rack has great stuff! I have a really similar striped skirt :) I would've switched to the sandals too...it's impossible to be on your feet all day in heels!

  18. What a deal! I obviously need to get out more. Two more weeks till The Hubs is done with classes, and I gain a little bit of freedom.
Also - those wedges you stole - super cute. I find my shoe envy even more extreme now that I am dealing with two. different. sized. feet. (sigh. end mini-rant.)
