In the last few weeks I've picked up a few things here and there at the thrift.
Some to keep (of course)!
And a few things for the booth.
One item that is already at Relics is this afghan..........
It. Is. HUGE!
* * * *
Both of these will make it to the booth eventually........
You know I can't resist suitcases (and they sell quickly).

This coffeepot has all of its pieces........
Some fun glassware.......
A rug........
And one Pyrex piece........
Here's the problem: I don't collect this pattern.
But it's turquoise.
So now maybe I should collect this pattern.
Or change my Pyrex rule to: Keep all turquoise Pyrex no matter what the pattern is.
That sounds fair.

I vote keep all the turqouise pyrex - love it!
ReplyDeleteI vote for the "keep all the turquoise pyrex" rule! :-)
ReplyDeleteThat afghan is great, I love the colors!
ReplyDeleteKeep the Pyrex! My rule is turquoise, black and yellow. Keeps me from going too crazy with it but gives me a good variety.
I love how everyone has a different pyrex rule -- my rule is casserole dishes. Mostly 472s.
ReplyDeleteI think keeping all turquoise is pretty fair! That pattern is really lovely.
HA! Yes, Pyrex has such a wide range of colors, pieces, and patterns that it appeals to so many folks!
DeleteIf it makes your decision easier, that is the only size that pattern comes in. It was a promotional called Meadow. And it's turquoise. Keep it.
ReplyDeleteLove that Afghan. I'fe never seen turquoise pyrex before. Cool. Definitely keep. :)
ReplyDeleteI Love the coffeepot:) It is adorable.

Thank you!!!!!
DeleteMy vote...keep all turquoise Pyrex no matter what the pattern. That afghan is beautiful. I love the 3 dimensional yellow flowers. So pretty and sunny. The glasses were a fun find. And, I didn't realize how popular old suitcases were. Love them!
ReplyDeletei think turquoise pyrex is always a good bet!
ReplyDeleteAnd I've decided pink is too!
DeleteI too can never resist a good suitcase. Both sets and the afghan are lovely!
ReplyDeleteThank you!!!
DeleteI love your little glass vase/bottle and I'm a sucker for a suitcase or two myself!
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU! Yes, I cannot pass them up (when the price is right)!!!
DeleteI love old suitcases...I can see how they would go fast. I took one and painted it for Logan and stored all her baby mementos in there. :)
ReplyDeleteI love me some bake ware and Granny Blankets. Nice juice jugs as well. I've been super lucky in thrifting lately. Love your blog.

Thank you so much!!!!!!!!
DeleteWow, great finds. I love that ice tea glass and the afghan is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteI do believe that's a promotional piece of Pyrex, so,it's the only piece in that pattern.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely keep the turquoise Pyrex - it's beautiful!
ReplyDeleteIf you collect turquoise (as I do), then you have to keep that. The pattern name is Meadow and it is a promotional piece so it is the only piece in that pattern. KEEP IT!!! :-)

ReplyDeleteHi! This is first time here. I love finding new blogs. I've been buying stuff for the last year for a future booth and I love learning more about vintage goods! I *remember* afghans like that from my childhood. Yikes! ♥
