As I was grading tonight, I came across something very interesting! I had assigned a paragraph and the topic was "authors." In a particularly entertaining paragraph, one of my kiddos claimed to have met Mark Twain! How lucky is he?
Then in a conversation with another kiddo recently, I was told a tale of swimming with jellyfish at Pomme de Terre Lake! I exclaimed that I'd never heard of freshwater jellyfish in Missouri, so what a lucky kiddo he was! ReplyDeleteWow, your kids seem very exciting and smart. Mine like to make snow angels in the middle of class. Which would be fine, if it were snowing and say we were studying lines of symmetry? But hey, at least we have volcano makers at recess, right!?
