What I Wore (before and after)

Remember that thrifting frenzy from last week?  The one where I scored the most fashion forward vintage dress???  The dress that was only $5.98 and so before its time???

Well, it took a trip to alterations.  And it's back.

Back and ready to be unveiled and styled.

And I think the best way to unveil it is in a side-by-side.........

I am in love.  It really is what I envisioned when I spotted it on the rack

I kept it simple and went up and in a few inches.  I liked the original shape of the dress, so I didn't want to deviate from that.

I thought styling it with a brown belt and shoes would be a nice contrast.

And how bout the chevron design on the bottom half?

It had me at hello.
