Weekly Recap (Instagram Style)

Lately:

I got more lake time in.....

I'm now part of the Bridge Club.

I drove the Wave Runner to the Kimberling Bridge and back.  By myself.

I noticed school supplies were hitting shelves.......

And while this sends me into a mini depression, it didn't stop me from buying a chevron notebook.

Speaking of school, even teachers need new clothes at the beginning of the year......

I ended up finding some pretty cute things (skirt, flats, scarf, skinnies).

Someone stole my spot one night..........

Sir Chester is the King of the Bed.

I purchased my first item for the laundry room renovation.......

It cost way too much.

Shipping was ridiculous.

But I couldn't stop thinking about it after I found it on Etsy.

And after hoofing it through multiple antique malls looking for anything that might fit the bill (and coming up empty handed), I decided it needed to be mine.

  2. Looks like you are enjoying your summer AND staying true to your summer list by getting in lots of lake time. Sir Chester is just adorable. Do you already know what you'll wear on your first day of school? And, I can't wait to see the laundry room....eventually :)

  3. I saw all the back to school stuff, and knew if I waited past July to get it, I wouldn't be able to stock my son's Supply List.

AND OH BOY WAS IT A SUPPLY LIST.

So, I grabbed a few things, and over the process of two or three shopping trips I had it all...

Composition notebooks are so much cooler than when I was a kid.. Colors.. REALLY?!?!?!

Which means we should get his clothes for the fall sometime soon too...

    UGH.
This sent me in a whirl.

Your puppy is SO cute. He looks so COMFY!

    1. School supplies are way more fun nowadays. Except they don't make Trapper Keepers anymore. (HA!)

  4. Ha ha, Trapper Keepers! I know, school supplies in stores already is a little depressing.
Love the shot of you on the wave runner. I wish we had one at our cabin! And that skirt you bought is so cute! It's so you :) You always rock the skinnies, girl.
Can't wait to see the new shelf up in your laundry room. I totally get having to have a certain item... nothing else will do!

  7. Congrats on making it to the Bridge Club! // School supplies... it really sends me into a confusing state... I love school supplies... the paper and pens and all the wonderful colors... but I do not want to buy them until, like, the day after school starts because once you buy them, summer is over. // I like that shelf. Can't wait to see pictures of your remodel. // Have a great week! xo

  8. I've been done with school for a few years now, and I still get the urge to buy supplies when I see the displays at Target. There is just something about a fresh notebook and new pens. And don't get me started on Post-Its and all their iterations.

  9. I can't believe school supplies are already out! I agree with Andrea...even though I've been out of school a few years I always find an excuse to by a cute folder or binder from Target lol! They always have the cutest things!
