Weekly Recap (Instagram Style)

This week........

The mister took me to Pheona's monthly sale as a birthday week bonus.  This is the only evidence I could get that it really did happen....

I swear that is the lawn at Pheona's.

The mister's family threw a surprise birthday party for me.  Can you guess the theme?

I was quite shocked.  They really did a great job of completely catching me off guard.

I won a giveaway over at Because Shanna Said So and I picked out a vintage inspired necklace from t+j Designs.......

That ring might be a new purchase too.  Vintage marcasite from an antique jewelry case at Relics.

Hey, I had birthday money to spend!

Every time I visit my booth, I have to walk by this.....

And even though I do have one window from that space, I want every last one of em.

A trip to Lowe's always results in a walk through the tile area.......

These are my top two picks for a laundry room redo coming this summer.

I know my favorite.

What sayeth you?

  1. Relics kills me! One of the ladies behind the counter doesn't even check my ID with my debit card anymore because I'm in there almost every weekend. Haha. I think I like the flooring on the left. Which one are you going with?

  2. I like both the tiles but I think the one on the left seems more laundry room like. The one on the right would be killer in a foyer! And happy belated birthday! Sounds like it was fun.

  3. Those windows are pretty sweet... Stay strong... you only need one... maybe. I'm no help at all!

A friend of mine just put the tile on the left in her bathroom. It looks great. I, however, am partial to the one on the right.

  4. Those windows are awesome! They would make such neat tables. Pink flamingo birthday, how fun!!!
I vote for the tile on the left, and I'm curious to see what you go with. Remodeling is such a pain in the rear, but so much fun at the same time. Can't wait to see how it turns out!

  6. i have the hexagon tile in my bathroom- I really like it- reminds me of an old hotel or something, but it was kinda hard to grout, or so the boys said (they're a bunch of sissy's)

    1. HA! What color grout did you use?! I'm terrible at that part, as I tried to in our kitchen. The mister took over.

  10. I love both tile patterns -- hard to choose. I think I give the one on the right a slight edge, but they are both fab. And THAT RING!!!!! No reasonable human being could have passed that up. Great way to spend the birthday $$.

Those two tile choices are both classic! What I want to know is, what will the wall color be?
    Enjoy your weekend!

    1. I'm thinking white wainscoting to about neck level, then a green wall above that. But I'm torn on a soft minty green or a vibrant emerald-esque color!
