In the last week (or so):
I re-staged my counters to accommodate the KitchenAid........
That baby can shred chicken in seconds!

Sir Chester wore a bandana.......
He was not a fan.

The mister surprised me with a coffee date........
That is an Oreo Latte, my friends. It was i.n.s.a.n.e.

And finally.
I began one of my favorite winter rituals..........
Monday nights with The Bachelor and a fire. Wearing sweats and ugly socks.
From the hours of 7 to 9 CST, you know where to find me every Monday evening for the next two months.
Viewing quality television.
I am not ashamed.

ReplyDeleteSir Chester ROCKS!!!!!! : ) hugs...
ReplyDeleteMy kitchen aid needs to be displayed better and I agree the chicken shredding is amazing! We have been getting reruns of the bachelor and I admit to watching it and laughing at the moments knowing they're going home!
ReplyDeleteI can do a backflip in formal wear.
ReplyDeleteWell, I would twirl a flag if I ever went on the show.
DeleteI've been watching the bachelor since I was in high school- I'm not ashamed either.
ReplyDeleteOh good! Such quality television!!!!!!!
DeleteSir Chester is so cute, even if he hates the bandana! I'll be watching the Bachelor too although sometimes on the DVR because the hubby refuses to watch it with me, ha. Happy Friday!

DeleteLove it! Poor Sir Chester. Your kitchen and red kitcheAid are the perfect pair, the look amazing together. I love that you used Whitney's son to make your birthday message even more special. And, I am jealous of that cozy fire. I have some ugly socks, can I come hang out on Mondays with you?
ReplyDeleteI have never seen a glass bowl with a Kitchen Aid mixer - brilliant! And I love your sweet birthday message on instagram. I'm so stealing that idea someday! Have a great weekend, pretty lady!

And I am soooo jealous of your fire. :(
yes to a cozy fire and the bachelor! except that first night is pure torture!! I have to cover my face with my hands almost the entire episode because I am so embarrassed for those girls!!
ReplyDeleteSir Chester is a hot mess....and I love him!!!!! I think I am the only woman in America not watching the Bachelor...I just can't do it...I want to beat and trip all the girls every time I watch....I know...I am so ugly. BTW, thanks for the Invisalign tip. Did it work well for him?
ReplyDeleteGreat birthday message idea! Stopping by from insta Friday
ReplyDeleteThanks!!!!!!!!!!
DeleteI love the glass bowl Kitchen Aid mixers, but I'm afraid the bowl would be awfully heavy. Of course right now I'm just happy with my hand me down KA, I've been waiting for my mom to upgrade for years so I could have the old one.
ReplyDeleteConfession: I got my Kitchen Aid at my wedding shower last June and still haven't opened it up. (since we're about to remodel our kitchen) Maybe now's the time!
ReplyDeleteEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKK! Don't wait ONE more SECOND! It is LIFE CHANGING!!!!
DeleteDanavee, you are so fun. This post is a crack-up; so fun and crazy. Our dog's look very similar. I will be posting her on Monday. We have 12" of snow here and she is so fun in the snow. Photos on Monday!!! ya!!!
