Last Saturday, the mister and I painted the town red. Just the two of us.
We had a date night extravaganza planned. It started with a couple's massage (where I found a masseuse I would go back to). Then we headed to dinner (our fave sushi spot). And finally, we wrapped it up at the movies (Skyfall).
For the festivities, I wanted to keep it casual. And a particular pin had me inspired to remix some items I already had.......

I had green jeans, brown boots, and a black top in my closet. And while I didn't have a green scarf, I did have one I thought might work..........
And look at that. A third pair of brown boots.
I clearly do not need more brown boots.
Or any color boots for that matter.
Shopping ban extended.
You've finally worn off on me and I want colored skinnies. That's right, plural.
ReplyDeleteLook at you stylish lady. I want to come and shop your closet too :). Sounds like you had a great date night and weekend.
ReplyDeletelove it! sounds like a top notch date night too!

Love your green jeans! And you can never have too many pairs of shoes. It's like having too many books. Not actually possible. (The hubby disagrees but that's just because he doesn't like moving them.) :)
ReplyDeleteLOVE those pants. Such a pretty color!!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Old Navy!!!!
DeleteLove it! Great job.
ReplyDeletexoxo
Thanks!!!!!
DeleteLOVE the outfit. I'm still working up the courage for colored skinnies. Glad you had a great date night. Isn't it awesome when you can get out for a night out on the town? Have a great Wednesday!

Thank you so much! YOU CAN DOOOO ITTT! You'll never regret it! And then you'll become obsessed!
DeleteLove your outfit! Great colored jeans. I do color on the bottom, just not in skinny. :-)
ReplyDelete~FringeGirl
You are silly, girl! I just SAW you rocking SKINNIES ON BOTTOM! Great colors too!
DeleteLove the jeans! And love, LOVE Mijuri. I haven't been in forever. You may have inspired me. :) PS, I'm also always looking for a good massage place...somewhere that doesn't cost a fortune, but also doesn't try to rub holes in my back.
ReplyDeleteNu Essence!!!!!! Or Esthetiques! I like both places, but my new girl is at Nu Essence!!!
DeleteAnd Mijuri is THE BESTTT!
I was so inspired, I booked a sitter for next weekend so we can go eat sushi for Vday (we'll be in St Louis on the real Vday). Not sure if we'll do Mijuri, or Blu Sesame. We have a groupon to Blu Sesame!
DeleteYESSSSS!!!!!!! Good for you! I've never been to Blu Sesame!
DeleteYou can really rock a pair of colored skinnies, they look great on you! And I personally like your scarf better with that outfit than the green one. Yours makes the look seem more effortless.
ReplyDeleteSuper cute! Love this look!
ReplyDeleteI swear, everything you put on looks good!
ReplyDeleteTotally jealous over here!
I love emerald green with leopard! And you can never have too many brown boots :)

ReplyDeleteThank you so much! Yes, I sport the SAME boots here on the blog ALL THE TIME! You just can't beat a great pair!
DeleteI'm not sure "too many" and "brown boots" should ever be uttered in a single sentence. And with colored jeans? Dreamy.
ReplyDeleteSounds like the perfect date night! Love the outfit you picked out...the earrings are so pretty!
