What I Wore (to a summer wedding)

I know I asked for your help in styling a dress for a wedding awhile back.

I know that most everyone liked a particular dress.  A dress I specifically bought to wear to the wedding.

But then, I just didn't.

The whole having to shop for a necklace and shoes thing.  I didn't want to.

I decided to go cheap.  Free actually.  To wear an dress that I had, with accessories and shoes that I already had............

Old Gap dress, old Urban Outfitters belt, and old, old Aerosoles shoes.

Really, it worked out perfectly, as the mister and I sort of matched.....

Not that that's what we were going for.

But I think I like how it all turned out.

Now, to keep or return the other dress???  That is the question.

  3. Friend, you could put a burlap bag on, cinch it up with a skinny belt and add some accessories and look fabulous! :-)
I love this picture of you guys. Very urban chic.

  4. You both looked great. Love the brick background. And your legs go on for miles. I say return the other dress and save the money to buy another vintage one ;)

  7. You look great! Ha, I'm always kind of a lazy shopper like that. I like to look good, but having to go out and hunt down the shoes and jewelry sounds exhausting!!

I love the brick background in that photo! I told my sister about the Firehouse wedding idea and she loved it. That brick wall would be a beautiful place for a wedding photo!

    1. I think I'm convinced. I mean I'd have to drive about an hour away to return in anyway!
