Thrifting Frenzy

I mentioned on Friday that the thrifting and garage sale fairies have been on my side recently.  Look at my stash from the last week or so.........

I made out like a fat cat.  Nothing cost more than $4.98.

A little turquoise Pyrex.......

Frames and mirrors and pictures, oh my..........

A suitcase and travel cases of all sorts......

I found the blue case on the left online for $40.00!!!  I paid $3.98!!

I thrifted lots of clothes:  pleated skirts, shirts, and a few dresses (thanks Jennifer).

This vintage dress, in mint condition, fits perfectly.  It was only $3.98!!!  I'm pretty sure the mister wouldn't be seen in public with me wearing I'll probably leave it hanging.  Think of it as art.......

A completely vintage polka dot blazer......those buttons........only $2.98.....

And my most favorite find of all.........

I think it will look so cute perched atop a shelf after we redo the laundry room!  It was only $3.00.  Look at that hinged lid and the lettering.

My heart swells up just looking at the curly font.

If I'm able to part with some of these things, they'll end up in my booth.  If you're curious about what's for sale, I'm starting to upload photos of items I add to my Facebook page!  Feel free to take a gander.

  1. Ooh, you DID make out great! I love the blue travel cases (both of them) and the gold mirror, especially!

  2. It's only a matter of time before this is your full time job. I'll be your assistant.

  3. High five, sister!! You are a treasure collector and so great at it! Look at you go! And you HAVE to wear that dress!! Who cares what the Mister is adorable!!!

  4. Omg I love the soap crate! I can't believe it was only $3 with all that design on the sides and bottom. I have been trying to find a few of those to make something with, but most of the ones I find are already marked up in antique stores. Great finds!

  5. Oh my gosh, YOU DID MAKE OUT LIKE A FAT CAT! Ha ha, I LOVE all of it! Laughing so hard that you said your husband wouldn't be caught dead with you in the dress, I bet you could actually make it really cute though!

  6. Score!!! Hugs and wishes for a beautiful week!

  7. Nice! The blazer is great, and yay for the luggage and your dress art. The 60s mod mustard yellow dress I bought as a bridesmaid dress has been hanging on my Pyrex shelf in my diningroom ever since it arrived-it's my art :) So I completely understand!

  8. OMG I love your stuff!! How amazing are those suitcases!!??

    Get Up & Go

  9. $3.00 for that crate?! I spent more than that on a newer crate recently that doesn't even have a top. You've got some good finds. We should go thrifting together!

  10. Great finds!! I love those mirrors. I find the best frames at thrift stores but usually have no other luck.

  11. wow the frames and mirrors are so beautiful!! *suddenly getting the urge to go thrift shopping myself*
    lots of love

  12. That blue travel case (the one that's $40 online) is amazing! Great finds!

  13. those blue travel cases? ah-mah-zing! and that frame holding the flower print... too awesome for words. fantastic scores! you had some serious good luck.

  14. I am so jealous right now. I love all of it!!

  15. Drool. I had that exact same Samsonite blue case and I can't find it!! LOVE everything! and welcome to Thrifters are going to fit right in ;O)

    Can't wait to see more!!!

  16. I love the vintage dress. It's a shame that what we find beautiful our misters would look at and gag. LOL. They have no idea about fashion!
