Tile: Take Two

The shower tile is taking a different (and cheaper) direction. And I think I'm starting to like it. Now it's looking like this will go on the shower wall........

It matches the floor tile very nicely.....

And every few feet, we'll throw in a horizontal row of the glass tile as a fun little accent. Can you picture it?

This makes painting the bathroom a fun color MUCH easier. I'm thinking Marlboro Blue by Benjamin Moore........

And getting a fun shower curtain with a bold pattern will be easier too. Since I have skanky shower doors, I've been longing for a fun shower curtain all these years. I was so excited with the tile development, that I bought three shower curtains. But I probably won't make the final decision until the tile is up. Until then, you can weigh in on the choices.....

My fave of the patterns......from Target.....

Love the blue in this one, again from Target.......

And the last option is from none other than Wal-mart.......

Once the shower is done, I'll hang each one of them. Then I'll probably hem and haw over the decision for awhile.

So help me folks! Faithful readers, this is a chance to make your voice heard. Even if you've never commented before. Be crazy! Comment! Help me decide!! Cast your vote, if you have a fave, and give a detailed explanation why it's your pick.....

How teacher sounding is that?

  1. Hmm. I'm not a great visualizer. I like to survey the choices in the actual setting... but if I force it, I think I may be changing my vote? Maybe the one with the blue if you're going to paint the room that color.

  2. There are many thought processes that go into picking the perfect shower curtain. Do you want it to be the focal point? Do you want it to blend in? In my opinion, at this point, I like the curtain with the blue. I feel this way because at this time I see a lot of brown from the tile on the floor and the shower and this shower curtain would give it all a pop. However, I think I am visualizing the entire bathroom being covered in tile because that is what I am used to. With the tile coming down and the walls being JUST blue, I can see myself leaning towards a pure brown one. In this case, go with the first choice. Decisions, decisions, there are many decisions that go into picking the perfect shower curtain.

*I hope this was detailed enough and fit your "teacher" requirements.

  3. I'm with Whitney - I'm not great at visualizing. So just based on the pictures you've presented, I like the one with the blue best.

  4. I like the first and second one better than the last one. I think the one with the blue would look great with your wall color choice!

  5. I like the second and third one! The second one with the blue because it will tie your blue's and brown together. I like the print of the 3rd brown one! Not much help... but at least I eliminated one of them!
